Curug omas (Omas Waterfall)
Omas waterfall One of the highlights is the Curug omas (Omas Waterfall). Along the way to the waterfall or Omas waterfall of the fourth gate, you will enjoy the existing trees on both sides of the path that has been rocky so you're not too heavy traveling. To the right is a wall that a lot of land overgrown with trees, while on the left side there are trees as a barrier to the existing road at the bottom. The road is not too uphill so there will be difficult for you. Overall, Forest Park is located at an altitude of 770 to 1330 above sea level.
Omas Waterfall |
You do not need to feel afraid of exhaustion to reach the Omas waterfall because you can take a motorcycle taxi motorcycle that will take you closer to the Omas Waterfall . Ojek motor (motorcycle transport)will usually pass by and offer his services, especially if they see a woman or parents who are not usually strong running away. But, if the physical is still strong, it's more enjoyable on foot, because you can see the green leaves with longer and feel the cool mountain air.
Until the end gravel road motorcycles have a base, this is the last place the motor can drive motorcycle taxis. The next field is down the stairs of land. If after the rain you should be careful not to slip.
Down the road a little meandering, you'll arrive at a bridge with enclosed sides iron red. On the left side of the bridge, on the upper part there are rivers that deliver water and then dropped down. The river was named Cikapundung plenty of water volume dropped from a height of 30 meters so as to form a waterfall. This Curug omas.
Many visitors who stopped at this bridge to enjoy the sound of a waterfall, see the swift water falling down and feel the splash-splash of the fresh water of this waterfall. But, should you turn if you want to linger over this bridge, because at the end of the bridge there is a written warning for only 5 people on the bridge. This is a protection for the bridge does not get overloaded.
Unfortunately, at Waterfall omas these visitors can not enjoy fresh waterfall directly. Visitors can not bathe in this waterfall. Iron fences to protect the visitors of this waterfall. It was indeed not possible because the base of this waterfall is under the bridge with lots of stone and water that looks deep.
If you want to see the waterfall with the lower position, you can down the rocky stairs to the right of the bridge. Having reached the end of the stairs, right there on the bridge which was closed and overgrown with wild trees. Instead, do not be too into the middle of the bridge and not too many people over the bridge because it looks fragile wooden bridge. To be safe, you can view the falls from the grass before this bridge. Seeing the waterfalls at this place more beautiful, because it can more clearly see the huge waterfall and many water falls.
After crossing the red bridge is located just above the Waterfall omas, you can enjoy a comfortable atmosphere to sit under the tall trees, looking at the river or waterfall. There are stalls that sell food and children that offers mat for hire. There is also a wall that contains the photos of interesting places that are here.
In the trees here too, there are long-tailed monkeys or apes. They generally exist in a place far from human. They will find the remnants of food scattered. These monkeys will go if we approach it. So, if you want to see the behavior of funny, do not be too close to them.
